I am really enjoying this author and this new series. I enjoyed watching Lexie and Gage rediscover their love in an unconventional way. Gage is delectable with that sexy Irish accent and swag and Lexie was perfect for him. There is a ton of action in this one and at times it was hard to follow the timelines but it still was riveting.
I did want more of a resolution with Sal. It seemed like there was more there in regards to his history with Gage. Especially, as he had helped when he didn't have to and seemed to be trying despite the animosity that was between these two characters. I hope that I get to see more of him in the future as he really piqued my interest.
The book ends on the perfect segway into the next book. I am not sure who the main character will be but I am up for the ride.… (altro)

I love finding new authors. So, to say that I was pleasantly surprised at how well done this story was made it even better. Strong characters, single mother, danger, and MC romance? Yeah, I was all in. Great start to a series. I cannot wait to get more from these characters. I'm hoping that as the story progresses, that I get more from these characters as it ended quite abruptly in the moment.
