Poul Jorgensen (1926–2004)

The Author is extremely knowledgeable about this subject, you can tell. He treats the reader as an experienced fly tyer so he doesn't have to cover the very basics thankfully. When he is discussing the building a particular fly, the terms he uses are familiar and easy to understand. This book shows how to tie what would normally be extremely hard to figure out, he does this for you. You have to remember the different procedures that he shows you because when he moves to a different fly he only discusses procedures that he has not previously covered. This sometimes makes it hard to follow along if you have never attempted tying Salmon flies before. The range of different flies is incredible, but he leaves you feeling confident enough to try them yourself.… (altro)
