The President’s Own White House Cookbook di Robert Jones
With a cover reminiscent of the old White House Cook Book, one might have high hopes for this book. However, it immediately becomes apparent that it has a problem. An example can be seen in a recipe dubbed “William Henry Harrison’s Cornish Game Hen”. The preface to the recipe goes on to say this bird was not known in Harrison’s day, but he would have loved it. Enough said, I think!
