I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

I was excited to read this book. I have had trouble sleeping for years and this is an easy to read book that really opened my eyes. I loved the advice section and the changes that we can make in our life to allow us to fall asleep easier.

I received an ebook review copy of this book.

The book is divided into the main sections- Understanding Sleep, Sleep and Culture, Getting Better Sleep.

Understanding Sleep - This gives general coverage of the sleep process. While there wasn't much new here to me, I still find this kind of information intriguing. It does have relevance when considering some of what is covered later, but this section could easily have been skipped or abridged.

Sleep and Culture - While there were some interesting details about the amount of sleep typical of different cultures, there was a large of amount of data which fell into the realm of alternative medicine and home remedies; little of this was support by any good evidence.

Getting Better Sleep - Here is the meat of why most readers would be interested in this book. Again, there is good information about factors which can influence sleep quality, such as exposure to sunlight, environment, etc. The bad part is that there is too much speculation and supposition, which is based primarily on the author's personal experiences. The section on nutrition is one area where much of the advice reads like something you would see in a fad diet book.

The book also could have done with better proofreading, to avoid some of the spelling and grammatical errors.

The books does contain some nuggets of what I feel is good advice, but digging them out from the irrelevant information is a chore.

If you are struggling like so many other people with effectively managing your day, or if it feels you are always loosing time, a comprehensive guide and resource on Time Management will probably make you spend your time much more efficiently than you have ever done.

Michael Jibrael introduces to all aspects in your life that are related to effective manage your time. Many people only think that effective planning is the key component to time management, but after reading Jibrael’s book, you will understand that there is much more to it than just writing a schedule. So do not be surprised to learn you actually need to put effort into managing time fully.

This book will not only help you efficiently manage your time, but it will also improve other parts of your life. Jibrael explains that effective time managers are healthy in body and mind, and he shares research-based tips with how to take better care of yourself.

The core of Jibrael’s time management system is called the High Level Plan, and it is a combination of strategies anyone can use and learn to become an effective time manager. At first it might look complicated, that that is why the author explains in detail and step by step how this system works and should be used.

In the appendix, Jibrael provides very great information for procrastinators. Since time managers seem to spend too much time on unimportant things, the author introduces the reader to two systems that were developed to lift up moral character, as well as to getting things done.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a thorough start resource on time management. This is one of the better books to helping you getting things done.
