Seriously creepy book about kids on an “Outward Bound” type of weekend camping trip from school that goes horribly wrong. It starts with their leader teacher falling off a cliff to his death at the bottom of a ravine. His body unretrievable, the troop turn back to hike down the mountain to the bus only to discover their dead teacher had the keys. There is no phone reception and night is falling with a fog rolling in. The other teacher, a useless female goes for help leaving the kids by themselves and the fun begins……
