I enjoyed making gifts for people when I was younger and this book was an excellent source of inspiration.

Easy to make models for flying mobiles includes:man in the moon, planet, star, rocket, helicopter, biplane, balloon, bird, and butterfly.

I've never made pop-ups before, and I found this book to have clear instructions and step by step photographs. With a combination of specific projects and pictures illustrating variations on specific techniques, this book will keep me busy for awhile. This is not a children's book, although it is probably accessible to middles school students and above (some portions are quite advanced however). See Joan Irvine's books for popup projects and instructions specifically written for children.

A very good beginners book on basic pop-up construction. Simple diagrams and clear photographs.

This is a book I refer to again and again in my paper-craft projects. My husband sourced this for me as a birthday gift and it is the BEST book on pop-up construction I have ever seen.

Origami from simple and basic to complex and demanding, beautifully photographed. A section on the butterflies of Yoshizawa hints at the artistic and creative possibilities of the craft.
