Far East Stories for Pleasure Reading di Edward W. Dolch
Kind of an odd collection of fables and folk tales from random asian cultures. Part of a series emphasizing the first thousand words, so very simple stories and basic vocabulary. Was pleased that they largely avoided stereotypes and derrogatory characterizations, but the best thing about this collection has to be the beautiful illustrations.
