In Anatomy Mnemonics, Alastair G. Smith provides a handy, literally pocket-sized reference to key features of human anatomy. This tiny tome provides a layout of physiology in an easy to parse fashion, including some apt mnemonics to assist the cramming student.

I have to admit, though, I find this book to be of very little use to those outside the medical profession, and as such can only recommend it, vaguely, to them, as a study aid, and only to the degree that one may recommend CliffsNotes to a literature student, or possibly less, as I plan on requiring a doctor one day who did more than just cram mnemonics in his or her brain’s buffer only to regurgitate it on a paper to pass a test.

For everyone else, it provides a glimpse into the systems of the body, but at such a low-level that many would get lost among the cardiovascular system descriptions.… (altro)
