A book of photographs showing the Taff Vale Railway in South Wales from the earliest times up to the British Railways era in the 1970s/80s. The photographs are reproduced in sepia throughout. Interestingly, the book makes almost no reference to the infamous Taff Vale Railway strike, save for the presence of a handful of photographs of trade union marchers and reproductions of some documents relating to the strike which are not in any way put in context.½
