An almost complete look at the start to finish process one company uses to produce it's skateboards, along with a bit on the history of skateboards. Full color photographs, and a couple of historical black and white ones, accompany a step by step process that Sector 9 uses to bond, cut, shape, and finish their boards. Text is informative, although some of the more technical terms would benefit from definitions (the sparse, 5 entry glossary is disappointing). Almost every picture has a caption, but the caption is often just the text from the main entry with slight changes. A good overview of information some may want to know, but most people interested in skateboards will want pictures of people on skateboards, not pictures of stacks of wood being pressed together.… (altro)
