Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. It showed how your life can so quickly change for the worst. I would highly recommend it. This brave and important book should be read by all those who have anything to do with the treatment and condition of those committed to our prisons. The book should be made required reading for all those serving in the prison service and those who join in the future.

Prison has its own set of rules. Prison isn't fun, or easy. It is a day to day survival of the fittest where the wrong look or word can get you killed. I found this book to be quite informative.

Jamie withdrew from life and just conformed to being there in body not spirit. He keeps his mind fixed on his work and not to think of other things but do his work. He let go of his inner self, feelings and emotions.

David J. Horn is a wonderful writer and I look forward to reading more of his books. I like the characters as well as the style of writing.… (altro)
