Trace Hopper

This is set in the real town of Red Bluff, county of Tehama. A family of witches live on a ranch there and try to blend in with the "normals" to not make waves. This is all going very well until a demon shows up and starts devouring high school girls. The witches can no longer stand by; this has become personal.

I am not usually a reader of magical realism, but I quickly became immersed in this story. In fact, it was hard for me to put down. I believe this is the first book by this author and I look forward to reading the next in the series.… (altro)
