The illustrations are cute and help keep your attention. You could try reading this daily with coffee and a bagel, or read them all in one sitting.

The only downside is each event is so extremely short. One day lasts a page with a sentence or two at that. However, toward the end of the book, some events last 2-3 pages. *thumbs-up*

This is an interesting read. It takes on a serious issue about water conservation and doesn’t shy from the bleakness of the possible worst scenarios. I will say, despite the rhyming nature, it would be best read by a child a little older who would understand the issue it involves and not be scared by it.

That being said the overall read was very good. The illustrations are very well done and support the feel of the story with a sense of dread. Yes, dread. As in we need to change our ways and quickly, but guess what? We can!

For what it is the book is great and different from anything I’ve read before, but don’t expect a cuddly smiling teddy bear. Be prepared to face your own wrongdoings and find out how to change them.
