Some of this is very interesting, and there are actual citations for each chapter. The red text is somewhat low contrast which would make it difficult for some to read. The lists of popular bloggers and podcasts will probably date fairly quickly and probably should have included Knitting Podcasts blogspot site.
And then there's the errors I caught. Starting on page 32 with socks knit in 3-ply (aka quite fine) yarn; using 9mm needles, which honestly is not something that I can understand slipped by a proof-reader.
Then there was the chapter section under the Around the World in 80 stitches (page 111) when Aran Knitting was lumped in under the heading Knitting in the UK - The Famous Fisherman's Jumper.
The last error made me snort out loud; there's a list of knitting in the media and honourable mention was made for Sylvester Stallone in Judge Dread knitting, sorry, wrong film, and that's an easy one to get right by googling "Sylvester Stallone Knitting Film" and Demolition Man pops right up.
These are the errors I caught and I wasn't looking for them, so I would take any assertion in this with a grain of salt. It's also one of those books that will probably date badly. It could do with an index.… (altro)
