Patchwork Pillowcases is a showcase for pillowcases made between 1820 and 1920 by German-Americans in southeastern PA. The text is not particularly interesting, but the photos are wonderful. There are 250+ color photos of pillowcases, bolster covers, hanging bags, potholders and other small household items, all pieced in the exuberant colors so typical of Pennsylvania German quilts.
