When Lena announced this new series featuring the King family. I was very excited and could not wait to read. She did not disappoint. I loved getting to know Whip King. Who doesn't want a sexy firefighter that falls for her first!

Emily and Whip jumped into their chemistry right away. They may have had a little cooling period, but it did not last too long. The sexual tension between them was sizzling. Although, I don't blame Emily for not being able to resist Whip. As she describes him...Whip has a pierced d!ck and kisses like a god!

It is a good thing that Whip is a firefighter and knows how to put out fires as this book is scorching hot! I can't wait to read Abel King's story next.… (altro)

I was so looking forward to reading Duke's story. Lena did not disappoint me. I loved this book so much. The Romeo and Juliet vibes were strong in this story. Not to mention the grumpy/sunshine vibes as well. The best of both tropes. Duke just may be my favorite Sullivan.

With every text that were exchanged between Duke and Sylvie, the anticipation grew stronger of their first kiss. While it was a short one, it was still full of passion. Although, nothing was hotter than these two's first time together. Talk about steamy moments. Love these two. Also, Duke can text me all the cat facts he knows.

The Sullivans and Kings are slowly repairing their rivalry. Yet that does not mean some witty banter and pranks can't still happen.… (altro)

Lena Hendrix does it again with this new book by bringing the steaminess and angst. I could feel the heavy physical attraction that Beckett & Kate experienced with one another. It just grew more intense the most time they spent around each other.

The way that they acted like they "hated" each other in the beginning but at the same time wanted to kiss had me feeling all sorts of vibes. When it came down to it, Beckett does have a heart of gold. Like the way that he asked what Kate's favorite order is, so that he could surprise her. I am going to leave you with a quote from Beckett:
