A small group of friends meet for their annual get together in a log cabin in the woods, to drink, fish, hunt, and talk. While they're there the world undergoes a sudden catastrophic change and they are forced into the wilderness and into a fight for survival. A great read and one of the best dystopian novels for years! As the characters stories are played out we see both the dark and light sides of humanity, all described expertly by a great author.
