I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
When I read the description I thought "Walking Dead", but was surprised. This is not about surviving zombies it is about surviving life and the making of a family. I found myself endeared to the characters, crying and laughing with the story. This is a great book with a new take on the zombie apocalypse genre.

Quick & Easy reading book that invites us to imagine our possible future life at the time zombies could haunt the Earth.
I enjoyed reading it and I liked the family example of care and loving moments. I also found some tension moments that spiced up everything. I liked the whole story as it is.

That being said it was a very interesting book. Earth had been hit by some major catastrophic event, and it was every man for themselves.
We meet an unusual group of survivors who band together for the sake of their own survival. This group is comprised of a group of three siblings, (two girls and a boy) a man and a woman who did not know each other fell in love and married. And a single boy. All of the people are the only members of their family to survive the incident.
They have to fight to survive and by that I mean physically fight until their opponents are dead.
This book was interesting and I found the dynamics of how they became a family interesting. I would recommend the book to my friends and plan to read it again myself'
