I always love hunting out new recipes to dazzle my family & friends with, during the holidays. Found this book on a discount table at my local Indigo store - what a terrific find!

The recipes are all by professional chefs, many of them celebrity chefs such as Bobby Flay, Guy Fieri, Carla Hall, Emeril, Nigella, Wolfgang Puck, Martha Stewart, Ming Tsai & many more.

It's a beautiful book, loaded with photos and easy to find recipes. The recipes are grouped by the usual catagories; Apps, Salads/Soups, Pasta/Risotto, Seafood, etc. and most have recipes have a suggested wine pairing selected by Master Sommelier, Kevin Zraly. This book also has a separate section for Drinks with 20 yummy cocktails, just perfect for this time of year. And at the end of the book, they have an informative matching wine & food section along with a handy chart that groups the wines into light, medium, and full bodied and has a listing of matching foods for each type.

I made several recipes from this book including, Leek & Potato Gratin, Comfort Meatballs, Hungarian Veal, Cranberry-Hoisin Chicken Rice (so yummy!), and Risotto with Pumpkin (another 5star recipe).
The recipes were all so easy to make & tasted absolutely delicious. This is a cookbook I will use over & over again. Highly recommended!
