While about one-third of this book is just more of the usual, the remainder has some very interesting insights on how and why to combine certain colors. Drawing heavily on handprint.com, the author also discusses pigments and how they are used and named by different paint vendors. One "lemon yellow" may be pale yellow and another practically orange. Why? Different pigments entirely. And this business of self-naming colors (Winsor Blue, Sennelier Red) -- shocking!
