The best part was the Chicago reporter who tracked a runaway disgraced financier all the way to Morocco. Nothing on WWI, though -- the book skipped right through the war in five pages.
Analyzes the complex set of relations that are shaping and altering the lives of Americans. Explores the ties that bind people in the US with those in seemingly distant developing lands.
This book collects 23 newspaper stories from a full spectrum of American newspapers in order to display the theme of international political interdependence and, specifically, the relationship between the United States and the Third World.
It has more fun than a bibliography of book industry.
