June Hagen's Rattling Those Dry Bones has brought together twenty-two remarkable women of faith to share their personal views and experiences of what holds them in the church. This powerful collection of essays includes the voices of some of the church's most well-respected women leaders, theologians and teachers such as Madeleine L'Engle, Susan Cole, Elizabeth Moltmann-Wendel, Virginia Ramey Mollenkott, Rosemary Haughton, and Nancy Hardesty. Each woman was asked the same set of questions including "How did you get to where you are without losing heart?" and "What hope do you hold for yourself and the church and other women in it?" And yet each essay stands alone as personal and unique story. These essays will inspire any woman who has ever questioned her place in the church. -- Midwest Book Review
