I love this book it is now out of print but there is an exerpt up on his website deadxstop.com Buy his stuff. support independent authors/artists.
I was listening to his little podcast (the deep end) which is explicit as are some of his stories and he said that "My First Hero" was his favorite story he'd ever written so I had to get it out and reread.
Dude is awesome.
It's just a book with little true life stories. the tagline to this book is
"tales of an unbreakable boy". And that is what it is.

In 10th grade (4 years ago) this book was passed around to like 30 ish people from preps to emo kids to punk kids to jock-ish kids and everyone liked it or at least most of it because its a short story book that is honest and vunerable and just truely amazing
