- I.B. Grubbs was Professor of Ancient Languages at Flemingsburg College in 1864-66. He was the editor of the Apostolic Times In 1877 he was elected to Chair and taught exegesis and Christian doctrine at the College of the Bible (Lexington, Kentucky).
Grandson of Daniel Boone. He was a Christian who greatly served the Lord in education. He started preaching in 1852 as well as taught in the College Of The Bible during the days of Charles Louis Loos and J.W. McGarvey.
