Garett did it again. How it is possible that each book it's better than the last, I still don't know, but he manages it.

This is such an awesome read: the characters are fantastic, well developed and with a fantastic chemistry that jumps from the pages. I love the enemy-to-lovers trope, and Garett really creates a believable transition.

Steamy, funny, and captivating, this is, IMHO, the best book of Garett Groves (until the next one, of course!)

I have read all the books in this series, and this one is my favourite... so far.

This is a May-December romance (and a lovely one indeed), and we also get the fake relationship trope (which I adore). Lance and Dave are both really interesting characters, and I love how Lance keeps growing in your appreciation the more you know about him.

While we travel with both of them in a job-related mission, we get to see how their relationship unravels, going from a businesslike deal to real caring. But all is not rainbows and unicorns: pieces from their past come back to haunt them, and maybe going from a fake relationship to a real relationship, to a fake break-up, to real break-up wasn't the best option.

This is a wonderful story, sweet and hot, with the right mix of funny and angst, and I can't recommend it more. *sits to wait for the next Garett's book*

If you had read Salt & Pepper, you know Max wasn't the most likeable character in the world. So, when you begin to read this new book you'll be surprised to feel how he slowly but steadly growns on you.
The backstory in both, Max and Lucas, helps to build an understanding of these men and gives you the foundation for the love you'll end feeling for them.
Another great book by Garett Groves. I'm really looking forward for more :D

This is a sweet, sweet romance, with just enough angst to avoid the traps of too sweet. The characters actions and motivations are easy to understand, and they are a bit like any of us. Who didn't feel down after a bad break-up? We all have been a little unsure of our appearance, or our talent, confused and insecure. And, if we were lucky, we had felt in love and did stupid things because of it.
This book will certainly put a smile on your face, and provide you with enjoyable hours of reading, which is quite an accomplishment, particularly when this is Garett Groves' first book.

I will be waiting to see what else come from him, that for sure.

A very different story from your usual rock & roll hero.

I love both characters, they are both strong and talented. And I particularly love the slow growth of their relationship, while they both come to terms with their past.

And, of course, given that the author is Mr Groves, the story is superbly written.

A sweet, emotional love story that will put a smile on your face.

A short and very sweet story, with almost no drama and a Christmasy feeling that will make you smile from the very beginning.

Rylan conquered my heart at first read, and I was cheering for his happy ending with all my heart. And at the end, Ben proves to be worthy of him, so everything is fine.

As always, Garett Groves does a fantastic job, and you will not regret to buy this book.

A May/December, second chance romance that will warm your heart.

As always with Garett Groves, the characters are interesting, and it's easy to empathize with them.Particularly with Caleb, who is going through a very rough patch after the death of his mother.

A lovely, relatively short, and easy to read book, ideal for the holidays.

A new series by Garett Groves, and one that looks so good as all the previous one.

This is a heartwarming second-chance story, with two strong, relatable characters who have fears and doubts we can understand.

There are no villains here, just people: some better than others but that it is. No big drama, which is truly nice, only some tension that will resolve in a sweet HEA.

A lovely book, that will let you with a smile on your face, and hoping the next in the series will come soon.

Recommended.

Another great book by Garet Groves, this is a 'enemies to lovers' which for me, given that is one of my favourites tropes, adds to my enjoyment.

The main characters, Mike and Kai, are both men with issues which they must be overcome to get their HEA. It's a wonderful journey to see them growing and learning to trust themselves and each other.A very emotional and beautiful book.

A lovely story, with alternating POVs and three-dimensional characters, this book has a lot packed-in its 263 pages.

A man who gets the chance to be a father; a blooming May/December romance; an understanding and encouraging son; seconds thoughts and a bit of a panic; and an annoying, meddling mother make the book interesting and with the perfect mix of sweetness, angst, and humour.

Recommended.
