M. Grabinski

Grabinski was a Polish diplomat who spent 4 years detained and imprisoned. He started the work while in Dachau, and must have finished it very shortly after his liberation. Because of its nature the book is not smoothly written, and the English edition could stand a little editing, but it is an invaluable look into nightmare. Somehow this book manages to assert human dignity from that dark and depressing place. It is remarkably optimistic. Readers who are interested in the Holocaust will find this a worthy book.… (altro)
