I kind of devoured this book today. I received it from NetGalley in exchange for a review. It comes out this July. I started it around 3 and couldn't put it down. Thank goodness for metro delays (up to a point that is) as I was able to finish the book on my way home instead of having to wait.

Everly is in her last semester of law school and lives a fairly straight edged boring life. She meets Max Levin in a cafe and thinks he's hot but waaaaaay not her type. Max is a porn mogul. Heir to the throne at his dad's porn empire. Definitely not Everly's cup of tea. But Everly goes out with him anyway and discovers life beyond her books while Max discovers life beyond T&A. I admit I was a little wary about reading a book set partially in porn land but Gordon handled it well. I found it to be well researched, tasteful and respectful. And legit hilarious at times which the characters speak to. Anyway, I fell in love with Everly and Max and a little bit with Max's dad. I also want more of Everly's roommates and not so secretly hope that Gordon writes two more books. The book had the usual romance tropes (fall in love fast, get in a big fight towards the end over a misunderstanding, make up) but I wasn't annoyed. I thought the book was well written, sexy, funny and thoughtful. It was definitely a surprise and I highly recommend it!

I recieved an ARC copy from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

Violet has been in hiding for the last 6 months after a horrific accident, she's occupied her time by watching the hot neighbor next door remodeling his house. Noah, the handsome neighbor next door, creates a way to finally encounter the hiding beauty and they find they have instant chemistry. With plans of just four weeks of fun, Noah and Violet find themselves pulling each other's clothes off whenever and wherever they can, with just one catch, Violet is hiding something underneath her clothes and the scarves she wears everywhere. When Violet finally returns to life, and work, she doesn't expect to find Noah there and she definitely doesn't expect it when her heart starts making room for him.

I am on a roll with books surprising me lately and I am loving it. Naked, by Gina Gordon, absolutely surprised me when I realized it was so much more than just a romance. Main characters, Violet and Noah, had some great dialogue and both funny and extremely hot interactions. Seriously, their chemistry was totally off the charts. I loved the premise of this book, hot girl watching hot man through the window and finally meeting only to find she has some serious emotional damage. The best part was how Gina Gordon wrote the emotional aspects of this book, because mixed in with the romance and sex were some truly thought provoking moments for the main characters. I didn't expect the stuff going on with Violet and I definitely didn't expect Noah to be the person who helps introduce her to a world of acceptance. This book definitely starts out as just two people needing to get it on with one another, but it grows to be so much more. I liked the mix of personal life with family and friends as well, because it made the book feel all the more real. I absolutely enjoyed the hidden lesson of loving yourself mixed in with the story and how judgement and acceptance work for people. The characters all were different, their voices were distinct, and I enjoyed the two worlds of laborers versus wealth meeting in the middle. Plus, I just genuinely really liked Violet and Noah together. They sound like a cute couple and they had some great sex.

There is a lot going on in the book, as the first in a series I suspect it is due to setting the stage, but there are a lot of people to meet in a short period of time. What starts out fairly slow grows quickly and there are some characters I feel like I don't know or who have a past that are playing into the book, but aren't revealed yet. Some of the book reads as though there are characters we should already know well, but don't, so hopefully that means they'll be featured in upcoming novels. Hint Hint: Harper and Luke. There are is some fog around the relationship of Violet and Noah, because they just mostly have sex and somehow find a lot of emotions, but I'm willing to let that slide since I just liked them in general.

Told from alternating POV's, the story of Violet and Noah is a beautiful one. While it's definitely got some hot and heavy scenes, the overall story is of self acceptance and love. There are some intriguing characters and I will be sticking around to read more of the Body & Soul series.

We have two individuals with difficult family and honestly these two needed a break, well especially Sterling my heart went out to her she has done enough. Unfortunately for her the way she meets Jack is cringe worth, to be throwing up in front of a hot guy! Huh I felt for her..Luckily Jack noticed there was just something about her and they give in to there attraction and have a hot affair, which i honestly felt they needed, of course something had to happy and they misunderstand situation but luckily it does get resolved for their sakes..Grab a copy and enjoy!

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) Voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions.

Gina Gordon did an admirable job with her latest Entangled romance. Recipe for Temptation is edgy, sultry and delightfully sweet. The attraction between Cole and Penn could be felt from the first page and just grew even harder to ignore. The interaction between Penn and Cole took so many different forms. One minute they were boss and employee, the next friends, then lovers, etc. I thought it was quite interesting that Ms. Gordon did that. It allowed the reader to see all facets of the relationship between these two people. They had always been so much more than they realized to each other but refused to acknowledge their feelings. This was not your normal Entangled read. Had all the steam but did not lack for the story. Very gratifying. I received an ARC of Recipe for Temptation in exchange for an honest review.

Can there be a bigger second chance story than this one? Every one makes their life's decisions due to unrelenting circumstance of then by choice. This story is exactly about these choices; Ben chose his life, Grace had no choice. But now they are looking to a new future with new dreams. Unfortunately, their past choice keep getting in the way and also prevent them from finding true love and peace in each other's arms.

This is one of the great things about Gina Gordon's stories. No matter how raunchy or scandalous her characters may be, for them there is always a ray of light at the end of the tunnel. A hope that never lets you give up. They have to work hard for it, struggle and fight for it, but HEAs are always guaranteed. Yay for happy endings.

Pretty darn good short story. Will definitely be reading the next book in the series. I have a thing with steamy elevator scenes and this one did not let me down. I just want to see what happens next because all I can say is this was pretty HAWT!

DESCRIPTION, NOT REVIEW: Veronica Whitfield feels like a frumpy old maid. After ten years of raising her younger siblings, she's desperate to get her sexy back. And why not find it with the man she's been in lust with since she was twelve years old—her brother's best friend, Finn O'Reilly?

Finn is looking for love. And not any love—true love. Complete with the white picket fence, two children, and a dog. He's just been a little unlucky finding it, and he sure as hell isn't about to consider his best friend's little sister for the job, no matter how badly he wants her in his bed.

But then Veronica propositions him with a game of dark, delicious seduction. Finn is tempted to indulge his hidden need for kink, but at what cost? Following through could very well ruin their friendship, but maybe—just maybe—helping Veronica rediscover her sexy side is exactly what he needs to find love at last…

Cole Murphy has haunted Penn's dreams and fantasies for 3 years. Having to work in close proximity doesn't help her attraction to him. So she's off on a family vacation to put some much needed distance between them, before she screws up their working relationship and her shot at getting a seat on the board of the Madewood foundation.

Penn Foster is never far from Cole's thought. The only person he can call a friend other than his adoptive brother and foster siblings, Penn has the special ability to get under his skin and drag him out of his shell. So he decides to surprise her on her on her holiday and help her win the trophy in her Annual Family Games. She reciprocates her feelings by agreeing to a no-strings attached fling for the duration of the holiday. And Cole is determined to make the best of it.

But he is surprised to see a whole other side to Penn; one he is not used to and certainly did not expect. In front of her family she's withdrawn and cautious, timid even. And he's not liking it one bit. Having dealt with a troubled childhood himself convinced that Penn shouldn't hide her true self from her family. When that blows up in their faces, Cole feels stranded when she doesn't back him up and leaves the resort, while Penn is left alone and friendless, demeaned by her family.

Great new series in the making. Love the characters especially Harper ( I am so looking forward to her story) Violet's life has been defined by her beauty and when she no longer has that, she seems to lose her self identity. Coupled with tragedy and her family's expectations of her makes her even more of a recluse. Noah is right there watching and waiting, giving her what she needs from him, patiently for her to open up even though he can see how blatantly her demons hold her back. But it is amazing how if we allow someone to see our true selves, allow ourselves to accept the reality of who and what we are and allow ourselves to be accepted by others, life and love can be ours for the taking. Being the weird one in my own life I can relate but I learnt that trying not to conform to society's standards of normal and self acceptance is the only way to be truly at peace, which is what Violet eventually learns about herself thanks to the people who love her.

Violet was in a bad car accident where her fiance died and she was badly scarred. She's been hiding out in a nearby town while she waits to take over her father's company. She's intrigued by her sexy neighbor, Noah, a construction guy who is remodeling the house. They meet, sparks fly even though neither is interested in a long relationship.
Noah is a sweetie and I liked him very much. Two secondary characters, Harper and Luke, were more interesting and had more connection so I'm interested in their story when/if it comes out. But I just didn't get Violet. She was so hyper-sensitive because her looks were everything, but wanted to succeed in business where it should be her brains that counted. Her guilt over the accident seemed misplaced and a bit over-the-top. I also didn't get the naivete that she seemed to have about sex. I thought that Noah deserved better and couldn't understand his attraction to Violet.
I received this book as an ARC from Netgalley for an honest review.

This was a pretty good book. The plot was well thought out and the writing was very good.

Violet is a young woman, a beauty who had suffered a terrible car accident which had killed her fiancé and left her with scars. Since then she likes to keep herself to herself,
but she does like to watch her neighbour...who is working on his roof...next door. He is a handsome looking stud, she covers her scars but still feels she could never talk to him. Until one day, Noah forces her hand.

I really enjoyed the story. I could sympathize with Violet, she dragged it out at bit with Noah though, but it was ok. The romance did get very hot and steamy, and I loved Noah's family values in the story, that was nice.

I can't wait for Harper's story, she was a really interesting character.

Such a great book!! Who knew such a good guy like Finn could be so bad? Only the best kind of bad though and perfect in every way for Veronica. This is a fabulous story and as always Gina Gordon makes you fall in love with the Madewood boys all over again. After reading this one I will never look at a kitchen utensil in quite the same way!! Get it now, I highly recommend it.

I thought this one was awesome! The premise of the book is great and I fell in love with Everly and Max right away. Don't let the fact that Max is heading up porn empire fool you. The book is so much more. Yes, there are tons of red hot sexy times but the core story is a true romance. When do gooder
Everly Parker and porn king Max Levin first meet there are definite sparks but she has no time and she's not his type. Then why can't he get her out of his mind. When he finds out she has a bucket list she's determined to complete, he seizes the opportunity to spend some time with her and help her complete it!

I think everyone will enjoy this one, I definitely recommend it.

Finally Cole and Penn give in to the undeniable chemistry! Penn is in hell. Well as close as you can come while still on earth. On vacation with her family and competing for a stupid trophy like they do every year. She knows she will once again lose. That is until Cole shows up to help her! As the competition heats up so does the sizzle between Cole and Penn. What harm can a little fun in the sun do? After all what happens in Hawaii can stay in Hawaii, right??

This is a fun read! It has a little drama, a little angst, and a whole lot of sexy times. I love these Madewood boys and Cole definitely doesn't disappoint. I highly recommend this one.

This is a book I could not put down once I'd started it was that good, I was hooked.
Everly Parker is a young woman working hard to become lawyer, she is in her last semester at law school and hasn't had any free time for a while now to just go out and enjoy life.......in a nut shell, her life is dull and boring.
But life begins to look up when she meets Max Levin, and she's blown away because he's so hot. Max is heir the throne of his dad's porn empire and he's finding himself bored with it all just lately, he needs a change. When he meets Everly he starts to feel things he hasn't felt for a long time. When he see's her 'bucket list' left to her from her grandmother, he see's an ideal opportunity to spend time with her.....and to may be look in to this attraction more.

This is a sexy book but it also is very amusing a times. The look into the porn industry was very eye opening but I found the story telling to be open and tasteful.
Max was a pleasant character, he really cared for Everly, protecting her when ever he could and boosting her confidence when he thought she needed it. Everly didn't have enough confidence in herself, she was also a bit of a loner which needed changing.
I throughly enjoyed this story, it was well written, had great characters with a very entertaining, and fun storyline. 5/5

Recipe for Satisfaction is a great blend of Steamy Romance and Fun Back and Forth between the characters. The first book in a new series from the Entangled Brazen Collection, Gina Gordon introduces Sterling Andrews a slightly uptight woman who has a habit of letting others including her parents walk all over her. Just when she decides she needs more in her life, enter Jack Vaughn the bad boy of the Madewood Family. Bad Boy his title might be, but Jack is really a great guy who comes to truly care for Sterling and want her in his life.
Gordon has my attention and I can't wait to see what is in store for the rest of the brothers in this family.½

Review:

"Recipe For Attraction" by Gina Gordon was a sweet contemporary romance of Neil Harrison and Carson Kelly. How this 'bad boy' and high spirited architect would fall in love was sheer magic by this author. Carson worked for Neil... and how did all these two really get involved? From ...illegal street racing? What had happened early in Carson life that she wasn't able to put behind her and why was she so interested in trying to help Neil through this? Was their really something going on between them that neither could resist that 'ignites a passionate affair?' What would happen with Carson and her father that finally drove her to really know what she wanted to do with her career? Would Neil finally realize that his 'personal demons'were too dangerous and if he didn't put a stop to it? ...well this all the above questions will be answered when you pick up "Recipe for Attraction" to see how this author brings it all smoothly together with the words 'I Love You.'

The characters are all so well developed and colorful only making this such a good read. I love how this author was able to bring the rest of the cast from the first series into this wonderful well written read. Be ready for 'drama, action and passion.' Wow is all I have left to say!

This was a 'spectacular novel' and you will find it hard to put down until the very end. "Recipes For Attraction" is the second in the Madewood Brother Series but it reads can stand alone. Would I recommend? YES!

I choose A Taste of Trouble by Gina Gordon because it features a bakery. I have read several books that have a setting of a bakery or diner in the past and they are usually pretty good reads. This one certainly did not let me down. Gina Gordon has created charming, delightful, and charismatic character that I bonded with right away.

Liv Crawford is a lady I would like to run into at her shop CUPCAKE!, sit down, and have a cupcake and a chat. I admired her ambition and strength to be able to save and struggle until she is able to see her dream come true. I truly what to cheer Liv on and support her decisions. She has a wonderful support system in the form of her two best friends and her best friend’s boy friend. Liv keeps running into road blocks when trying to open her bakery. Lots of mysterious things go wrong. Is her luck really just this bad or is someone up to no good? I’m not going to spoil it, I’ll you let find out for yourself which it is.

Liv certainly doesn’t have time for a relationship or at least she doesn’t think she has time. When she meets Jake Miller she unwilling agrees to date him. Oh my the chemistry between these two is just absolutely wonderfully written!

Jake Miller works in public relations and hasn’t really taken time for a relationship. He has been to busy with his career to find a serious relationship or to even care if he were to find someone special to spend his life with. That all changes when he meets Liv.

Liv has trust issues and has never wanted to get involved in a relationship due to things that happened in her past. Jake has a huge secret that he is not ready to reveal. It turns out his secret is bigger then even Jake knows. I so enjoyed watching this relationship grow and change as they each revealed more to each other.

I really liked Ms. Gordon’s writing style and her ability to put together a story that kept me interested. There is some sweet romance, some sizzle and sparks, a little mystery, and some humor. What more could I possible ask for in a book, she covered a lot of my favorite bases.

Recipe for Satisfaction definitely has what I’ve come to expect with Brazen books, HOT sex and lots of it. This is the first book in Gina Gordon’s Madewood Brothers Series and it does a nice job of setting you up and introducing you to all the brothers. First up is youngest brother, Jack Vaughn. Jack along with Neil, Finn and Cole were all foster kids taken in by Vivian Madewood as teenagers. Unlike his older brothers who joined the family business, Jack felt the need to prove himself and branch out on his own. Consequently, his brothers are constantly giving him a hard time, thinking that what he’s doing isn’t important.

Sterling Andrews is a professional organizer. It’s her job to keep people organized although her life isn't organized at all. Sterling makes a modest salary and should be having fun and living a great life. But she’s pigeon-holed herself into being extremely sensible and not allowing herself to have fun at all.

Sterling and Jack are two people who are more than what people see and more than what they view themselves as. The two meet on board a yacht that is hosting a charity event for Cooking for the Future, the charity program created by Vivian Madewood. The attraction is instant and the two agree to a one night “help each other get back on the horse” fling. After all, Jack is known as a ladies man and Sterling has no time or desire for anything more than that. She just wants to allow herself one night of being exciting Sterling instead of boring Sterling. Unfortunately, Sterling's parents get in the way and her plans fall through.

Sterling inspires Jack and he just can’t get enough of her. He convinces her friend, Penn who works for the Madewood family to give him Sterling’s phone number. Jack then offers Sterling a job as a way to spend more time with her. Jack then convinces/challenges Sterling to step out of her comfort zone, have fun, and spend the next four weekends in his bed.

During their month together, they each see the good in each other that no one else sees. Jack shows and shares things with Sterling that no one knows. Sterling unfortunately reveals very little. As things heat up to the point of no return, Sterling’s family issues get in the way.

I immediately fell in love with Jack. No only is he a talented chef; he’s smart, caring, hot and oh my...the things he can do both in and out of the bedroom. Sterling is a heroine that I like. She’s a little tightly wound up, but it’s because of her past. I hate that she’s so hard on herself all the time. She let’s her deadbeat parents guilt trip her constantly. Jack and Sterling are really good together.

I’m looking forward to the other books in this series.

Liv had a dream to become a bakery owner. Never did she dream of a happily ever after with a man; not after being hurt by the man in her life that she should have been able to count on, her father. That was when Jake came into the picture. The hottest man she had ever see came through the door at the bar she was working at. Jake turned out to be quite the distraction to Liv, the hopefully up and coming bakery owner. Liv had been through so much hurt and pain from loved ones, she could not handle having her heart-broken again. That was when she realized the people around her were not who she thought they were.

A great love story, this book was filled with sex and cupcakes, what a great combo. If I had to critique, the only thing I would have loved to see was a copy of the cupcake recipes that were talked about in the book. A recommended read.

This was the first of this series: Madewood Brothers #1 which introduce you to Jack and Sterling's story. The story line was great only to keep me reading until the end even though it was somewhat predictable. All of the characters seemed very well developed and so real even the 'bad boy.'

This was an exceptionally hot, extremely quick read. A typical fantasy, well written and sizzling sexy, I found this to be a wonderful few minute detour to my day. Becca was a well defined character and Jordan is delicious. The shortness of the story added to the heady breathlessness of their encounter. I’m a sucker for happily-ever-after and this delivered an ending which felt that way to me. This short story delivered just what I was expecting and this author has been added to my must-read list.
