The introduction the author gives of herself on Smashwords includes this sentence: "As background, I should tell you I've long been a fan of Hentai, which is basically anime styled porn, and my favorite meme is where a sweet and virginal young girl has her first sexual encounter and immediately turns into a stark, raving nymphomaniac."

I had forgotten about this sentence in the time between downloaded this freeby novel to when I started reading it and so I went into the novel without expectations of any kind. It turned out that Faith in Jamaica was to be a very enjoyable reading experience.

The text is spelling checked and edited.
The language is easy to read and descriptive in all the right places.

Faith' character is well established.
I was highly amused with the first chapters where her transformation from young girl to married wife is portrayed. While Faith' situation is remarkable, the author had me accepting the situation and Faith' responses to it without a problem. More than one event in these first chapter had me giggling and laughing out loud. The scene where Faith concludes that her husband and brother in law are demons, was priceless. Well done!"
Of course shortly after those first chapters, we do have to suspend our disbelief. Of course a virgin can take the biggest cock there is effortlessly in all three orifices. Of course that same virgin can deepthroat that same gigantic cock on her first attempt...
But guess what, by that time, I was too amused with the events portrayed to mind any of it. I liked Faith' exuberance, I liked her sense of adventure, I liked her boys, and I liked that she liked sex.
I also very much liked the various paragraphs where she considers what is happening to her at any given time, and forms an opinion on how she feels about those or how she should handle those. Faith may have grown up in a backwater place, she's certainly not backward.

The plot of the novel mirrors the author's interest perfectly. It is a simple plot, but with enough surprises and suspense to keep the reader's interest.

In short: Excellent execution of the chosen theme. And as such very much recommended!… (altro)
