Margarita Gleba

Margarita Gleba is currently European Research Council Principal Research Associate at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London. Her research interests encompass the development and social and economic role of ancient textile production and consumption. She is the author of Textile mostra altro Production in Pre-Roman Italy (Oxbow 2008), and editor of Textiles and Textile Production in Europe from Prehistory to AD 400(Oxbow, 2012) and several other books. Judit Pasztkai-Szeke is a Hungarian archeologist Between 2007 and 2012 she was the spokesperson for the study group Production and Trade in the international project DressID: Clothing and Identities - New Perspecties on Textiles in the Roman Empire financed by the EU's Culture Programme (www.dressid.eu).
