Using interesting information in juxtaposition to a timeline, the author leads the reader through a factual study of the events leading to the American Revolution. Students could easily be led to use higher order thinking skills by adding questions.
Nice way to explain to students how fractions are used in real life.
Another great find. This is a great way to teach adding and subtracting fractions. I love that is ties in the Civil War. In fifth grade, we just get up to the Civil War, this would be a great addition to the classroom.
