Petit cadeau anecdotique de mon chéri et j'ai apprécié regarder ces photos, même si ce type de photo n'est plus trop de mon goût. Certaines sont quand même magnifiques.

Cute baby pictures showcase various colors in this board book. The text consists entirely of color names. I would prefer a larger variety of ethnicities in the photographs, as only 5 of the 23 children shown are non-white. (And black children can wear colors other than yellow...) And I am not sure why the last page, which combines multiple colors, names red twice instead of having another previously-featured color. But that's just me.

This is an adorable book. It is a simple book but readers are sure to love it. It counts from 1 to 10 and uses Anne Geddes pictures, who is a well known photographer of babies that are dressed up in outfits.

I read it with my son and he especially liked the baby acorns and the baby pumpkins.

Characters: Various babies.
Setting: Garden/ nature settings
Theme: enjoying the small things in life, and appreciation of things that are simple yet beautiful.
Genre: idyllic and enjoying youth and nature
Summary: This is a collection of photos that correspond with words for every letter of the alphabet. The scenes of the babies are all in a nature theme setting that are specific to a particular letter. For example the “F” is for Fairy and “H” is for hedgehog.
Audience: 0-12 months/ beginners
Curriculum: Introduction to the alphabet and increasing vocabulary
Personal response: This book is probably intended for babies 0-12months but it is timeless. It could be used for kids that are up to six and seven years old because it captures sweet and innocent baby moments in scenes and as objects that you would not typically think are suitable for a baby.

The focus of this concept book is colors. The author uses the flowers and other natural items that you might find in a garden to show the colors. The colors are shown with a single word for the reader to understand what color the flower or object is. It is a colorful and warming book for a child to read and begin learning their colors!

Down In The Garden is a wonderful introduction to the alphabet. This book is age appropriate for prek-kindergarten. The book is based on cute items that are endearing. The font has a large capital for the alphabet example and a very large word that describes the image on the adjacent page. Infants are incorporated and to each artwork. This may be more appealing to an adult than a child pictorially. A good activity would be to have the children give another example of a word in for the alphabet.

Everybody who sees it loves this book. Pictures of costumed baby faces as plants, fruits, gnomes, flowers, insects, and animals. You have to see this book to believe the creativity that went into the planning of the various shots. Intended audience is adults with open minds and a sense of humor. Brilliant.

I always love Anne Geddes' photos. This is a board book of photos of cute kids dressed up in costumes: queen, cat, farm boys, etc. And of course her signature bee-babies.

A lovely oversized book, with biogaphical stories, lots of family photos, behind-the-scenes photos and narratives of Anne's projects, and of course, hundreds of beautiful pictures of babies. Included are photos from all of Anne's previous books and projects. I love it. I simply couldn't resist. Besides, the $34.41 book was on the bargain table at Waldenbooks for $4.97! How cool is that?

Beautifully posed and delightful babies illustrating the 12 gifts for the different days of Christmas. Cuteness overload, but I love it and always put it out on the coffeetable for Christmas.

Cute pictures, but not great. It doesn't really seem to "flow" very well - and it's only a few pages so seriously how difficult could that have been.

Contains two pictures of my grandaughter, Ariana.
That alone makes it a great book!
