Nonfiction; crafts. Cute and pretty patterns for knitted dollies (each with its own personality) and their knitted/sewn clothes. I'm tempted to make these even though I don't know any kids to give them to.

I'm a knitter, not a crocheter, so I appreciate the brief introduction to both UK and US crochet terms in the front of the book. The patterns are adorable, and many of them begin with a basic pattern, then several more toys that build on that basic pattern. (Provided by publisher)

I gave up with this book - too many mistakes, very difficult to get the errata. There are better knitted pattern books for stuffed animals.

I bought this book for inspiration. I enjoy crocheting things for my grandkids and thought some toys would be fun to make. What a great little book! Lots of different kinds of yarn, and the patterns look pretty easy. I can't wait to start my first project!

The patterns are sweet and imaginative, but your copy center will hide when they see you approaching with this book, as the patterns are difficult to copy. Many will not even fit on 11x17 paper. The best approach is to copy at 100%, then cut out each piece and blow it up individually. Good value, and lots of fun.
