The front cover is entrancing and interesting because it has an eerie night time cover with shiny letters oozing down the front cover. On the back is a scared child surrounded by pumpkins. The inside is filled with all sorts of different stuff that may interest children. It has stories, poems, spells, magic tricks, curses, recipes, superstitions and finally legends and lore. There is something in this book to appeal to every child. Also throughout the book are creepy well illustrated drawings that really enhance the book. I really like how this book has a children’s introduction version to the story Frankenstein by Shelley. Children can read this book because it is close to Halloween time or because they think it is fun. This will hopefully build their love for the stories that are inside of this book.… (altro)
