I had read the original story in the Bite Me Vampire anthology. This one has been redone and had additional chapters added. Had I not read the original story, I would have loved this one even more than I did. However, having read that first, I have to say this version, despite adding new material, was not my favorite. Again, that is not to say that it wasn't good. It is and it was. There was just something about the other one that held my interest and made my imagination soar.

This still had all the funny musings and actions and still did make me laugh. I would recommend this and anything that this author writes (under real and pen name). This is definitely on the more humorous side of what she writes.

I won't lie. I have to say that I was a little confused at the beginning. Especially, thinking that this was supposed to be someone cursed with urges that bordered on decadent and depraved. SO, I wasn't understanding how this sweet almost swoon-worthy beginning would turn into that EVEN more so, knowing who the author was. If she isn't writing kink, she is writing some pretty twisted stuff that takes her audience out of their comfort zone.

I needed not have worried for long because once it happened. OH YEAH, this author brought out her darker grittier side. Her mind is a little scary. AND, I like it. A LOT. I won't give details so as not to spoil the story but prepare yourself for a delicious treat from this author who created amazing characters, an interesting plotline, and some serious suspense. Highly recommend.… (altro)

This collection of 9 stories by 9 excellent authors was a great read. You get vampires from the past, vampires in future, creepy vampires, and vampires that are almost sweet. Some of the stories in this are very dark, others aren't. That's always nice because it means that there's a little something there for everyone. They are all pretty quick reads, which is perfect for those moments when you only have a few minutes to read.

Addison Cain-Cathedral

This is a sequel to her story Catacombs. It fits very well in with that story, and carries the feel of the first story over really well. I can't wait to see more of what is going to happen to Jade. Maybe we'll see Pearl again too?

Zoe Blake-'Til the End of Time

We get to see the OG vampire in this one, but his origin story is a little different. It's grimmer too, I think. I loved getting a glimpse of the more traditional vampire, and the research that Zoe Blake must've put into getting all the details right is pretty obvious.

Alta Hensley-Master of Ceremonies

When you are immortal, life might seem like some kind of traveling circus, so Alta Hensley decided to take that idea literally and give us an MC who is a vampire. There is a lot of action pumped into this story, but it doesn't feel too crowded or anything.

Myra Danvers-Enthralled

Myra Danvers' vampires have a family reunion that I'm pretty sure that none of us would really want to attend. It's a prequel and I'm really looking forward to the next part of the series, because I think it's going to be pretty good.

Eris Adderly-V is for Vampire

This story looks at vampires in a whole different way. It's more genetic than it is anything else, and there is a clear divide between those who have the gene and those who don't. I love this fantastic dystopian world, and I need so much more of the story.

Livia Bourne-Blinding Salvation

This is a rescue story that you probably would never have thought of. But, it's a great one. And I'm looking forward to seeing where Livia Bourne is going to take Armand and Lily.

Sara Fields-The Devil's Game

Sara Fields' story makes you wonder who is the hunter and who is the prey, and the answer isn't always as clear as you might think it is. I love the premise of the story, and the ending was just wow.

Anita Gray-To My End

We have another hunt going on in this one, but you might not know who the hunter is and why they are hunting anyone at first. Then you are going to wonder what else is going on. When I first read the story, I was all about having more to the story, but then I decided that it was perfect the way that it is.

Cassandra Faye-Sweet Ruin

This is probably the sweetest and lightest story in the book. But that doesn't mean that it isn't intense anyway, because it is, and it is super sexy too. I loved Nic and Grace and their whole interactions.
