This book was written to celebrate 100 years of Junior Achievement. The volume is filled with interviews of JA alumni from around the world. The first part of the book focuses on the four fundamental practices of successful entrepreneurs. Farrell describes the mindset needed to succeed as an entrepreneur. He does not get into the details of how to manage a business. This book is more about inspiring individuals to dare to follow their dreams of starting an enterprise. Farrell proclaims there is no reason to wait to first get a college education or earn an MBA. The time to start is now. The book’s inspiring message is its strength. Reading about the many individuals from around the world who started successful businesses and careers as a result of being involved in JA is encouraging to anyone thinking about launching a business. The entire second part of the book is devoted exclusively to interviews of JA alumni. The target audience for this book is young people—high school and college age. But anyone needing a shot of adrenalin to pursue their business dreams may benefit from reading this book.
