I really enjoyed this fantasy novel. The premise was original and engaging and you really feel for the characters along their journey. Even when unsure if a character was good or bad, I felt empathy for their plight and wanted them to make it out of the situation. This book leaves you with many questions and I will definitely read the next in the series. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.
