(and since i love blues - new of Robt Johnson as well). However, the author has expanded the 27 club (or at least done the research and identified) with many more members, drawing primarily upon the arts. None of the bios or portrayals is very detailed (there are excellent existing biographies of many of these artists), but it does provide an introduction and starting point for further reading.… (altro)

An interesting and enjoyable look into celebrity deaths at the age of 27. I had heard of this 'curse' previously, but was unaware of just how many talented individuals had their lives cut short. I would have preferred that the biographies were maybe a little more in depth, but would recommend to anyone that has an interest in learning more about the tragic deaths of some the worlds most gifted artists.
