A wonderful book! After all, it quotes me!

We all need a handy book of inspirational quotations to spruce up our notes, presentations, and just for our own sense of purpose. It joins a few books of quotations out there that have good quotes about books and libraries, but here is a new crop to use and think about. One nice thing is that there is a biographical section at the end of the book that describes who the person is that made the quote. So, you can say something like: Cicero, the Roman statesman, lawyer, and philosopher said: “Anyone who has a library and a garden wants for nothing.” Add this one to your quotations shelf. There are several hundred excellent ideas in this small but attractive volume.
