I've been reading a ton of self-help books this year. I've needed them. My life has been sad and difficult and they've been a lot cheaper than hiring a therapist.

Aim Low is the book that tells me I've just wasted the past year reading those books and I shouldn't have bothered. Tongue in cheek (I hope ;-)), this book allows all of us to be happy losers, content in our lives as underachievers, never hoping or expecting more than last place.

Witty and fun. I hate to admit it, but this book, although meant as black humor, actually was a little bit too close to the truth . Holding that mirror up to my loser face was a bit uncomfortable. But, I'm just going to laugh and tell myself that this book isn't talking about me -- it's about all you people out there. Yeah. I'll just keep telling myself that.… (altro)
