I am sorry. This book bothered me to no end and I have no idea why. I read it like a week ago and remember NONE of it.. It bored me to tears and where I did find things that I could have liked nothing left a memory on my mind. I just could not love it like I wanted to!

I found myself drawn back time and again to read a bit more of the story. The adventure was fun and it was nice to watch Mara discover the joy of taking timeout.

This book started off slow and confusing. However, once I got through about half, it made sense and kept me interested.

Mid life is a strange place to be and there doesn't have to be a divorce or an empty nest to bring on the crazy - but in this story both things propel Gwen both backward to unfinished business, and forward to a more courageous life. There is a good share of romantic foreplay which feels heavy handed, but the story and the characters were fun.
