Let me say this...I LOVED IT...
Nick was charming without being overly so. Angela was a sweetheart, yet not over the top. Together, they were a potential match made in heaven. From the initial meet cute to their sparkage, the casual encounters to their meaning filled glances, you couldn't help but root for them despite a few glaringly obvious similarities between this and her last relationship. I was full on heart involved with the story and when push came to shove, I'm glad they were each made of stronger stuff than they appeared because that ending was SO up in the air.

...except for one little thing.
That one little thing was kind of a combo. Although I loved the story, I did kind of feel like there was one (or two) many would-they-wouldn't-they obstacles to their relationship...and those very same situations were a tad predictable.

All in all though, I enjoyed my time between the pages. It's a sweet and clean Romance perfect for those wishing to indulge in a little holiday spirit sans alcohol or calendar page infusion. Oh and Nick, you're totally right...Charlie is SO worth holding out for the right one. ;)

I quite liked this story and the main characters Will and Hadley were great but it had an ending that just wrapped up too easily and perfectly for me. Lately I seem to be reading a great deal of these books that have good characters and an engaging story line but that resolve too neatly. If major problems exist I just don't buy that they can be solved in the end. However, I was engaged by this book and would definitely read more by this author.

A shortie but a fun read! For real, it was fast and it was fun, but exciting.

From the beginning when I first started it I got immediate vibes of, oh this is SO the breakfast club! I knew it was a suspense type book so I knew something had to happen that was UNbreakfast club but the descriptions of the group and way this started it was just so fitting.

But then stuff started to happen, things started to get mysterious and unfold, and then I immediately thought of a movie I had watched, with Jenna Dewan where she basically wreaks havoc on everyone who did her wrong - and I was instantly like, what is going to happen next. I read the entirety of this book in just a short time - less than 2 hours total - but what a party that was.

The whole premise was fun to read on paper and it was just an overall great read for me.

I only had one problem with this book so I’m going to get it out of the way so I can focus on all the gooey goodness. It’s written from the first person perspective which works for the vast majority of this story BUT there are 2 characters Katlyn Duncan uses this writing style on as she writes certain chapters from one character’s viewpoint then other chapters from the second character. The second character is the “big bad” who doesn’t get revealed until the end so there were a few times I got confused as to which character was speaking then wondered if Duncan was trying to set up for some kind of split personality thing. Once I knew who the second character was I went back and reread some of those chapters in their viewpoint and it made much more sense.

I really loved this book. I was completely glued from page one and didn’t want to put it down except when I had to deal with “real life” distracting me. There were so many twists, turns and red herrings I really didn’t figure out the big bad and all my guesses proved wrong.

Duncan is a brilliant writer whose style just flows and grabs your attention. There was so much mystery surrounding her characters I was invested in finding out the truth. The ending, although it wrapped up with a perfect conclusion, still left just enough room that if Duncan wanted she could create a sequel.
