The purpose of this DVD is to help resource parents understand why foster and adoptive children can be very angry, and to give parents a framework for figuring out what has triggered a specific tantrum, aggressive act or defiant behavior. The technique is called Anger Pie: Slice A is the antecedent, or event that immediately preceded and triggered the outburst; Slice B is bias/behavior, bias being the judgment a child makes about the antecedent and behavior is how the child reacts to the way he perceived the triggering event; C is the consequences or outcomes of the anger episode---both positive and negative. This is an interactive DVD that teaches a concept, then asks questions, waits for the viewer to answer the question, and lets the viewer know if the answer was accurate or not.
