Eva Dresden

Quinn is back, and things aren't much better for her right now. She's stuck in with Lee who has nefarious plans for her. Plans which will make her life miserable or even worse than miserable. Lee isn't nice, but he's at least keeping her sane right now, which is about all she can really ask for.

I'm not sure if Tobias is the good guy or bad guy in this story. He does some good things, but for maybe not the best reasons, and he does a lot of not good things. There are all kinds of things going on in here, and they have so many repercussions. I can't wait to see what happens.

Quinn is so much stronger than anyone thinks she is. That strength and stubbornness is amazing and it will only help her through all the things that will be happening and what is already happening.… (altro)

Fantastic conclusion

I thought that this was the perfect conclusion of this series.

Quinn and Tobias are trying to adjust to all the changes, but Quinn keeps fighting against Tobias. He forced a bond on her, and she feels the squirmy thing in her chest and she wants it gone, so she fights.

I think that if the two of them had actually stopped and listened to each other more, and actually LISTENED, then things would've been better.

Altogether, a perfect end to the series.… (altro)

It is not often that a book breaks me nearly as much as this one did. There was just so much going on in here that I truly was just so wrapped up in it, felt every single one of Quinn's emotions, and was devastated when things went wrong. I wept with her, I wept for her. I was angry with her, and angry for her. Eva Dresden definitely created characters that were so real, nuanced, textured and detailed, it was almost impossible not to expect to see them walk into the room.

Quinn is so strong and stubborn, even when being less stubborn would be better for her. I think, though, that stubbornness is all that gets her through sometimes. I think that her strength and stubbornness are going to come in handy in the future.

I'm not sure what I feel about Tobias. Sometimes I really like him. Sometimes I really hate him. I mean hate him with the heat of 1000 white hot suns kind of hate. I'm going to have to watch him and see what happens with him.
