Great book! Easy to read, full of personal stories to relate to. Very empowering message!

I guess I needed that book when I was feeling a bit out of place in tech industry.

The first half is pretty grim, but has been my experience. The second half is a pep talk about becoming an "efficiencer" -- striking off on one's own and selling "solutions" as business. Becoming known via a blog, conference talks, giving training etc. is the way to get started.
