Sometimes we do something because we're deliberate and intentional, and sometimes it's reactive because, say, we haven't had enough sleep so we snap at someone.

I think everyone understands the above intuitively, but not many people have thought through what that means on a day-to-day basis with respect to, say, parenting. This book essentially provides the real-world ramifications of understanding the above (both for understanding your child and a little about understanding yourself)

The book can get very repetitive, but I guess this idea isn't one that people are used to, so I guess the repetition makes sense for certain audiences.… (altro)
