- Craig Deegan, BCom (University of NSW), MCom (Hons) (University of NSW), PhD (University of Queensland), FCA, is Professor of Accounting School of Accounting & Law at RMIT University in Melbourne. Craig’s research has tended to focus on various social and environmental accountability and financial accounting issues and he has published over 50 papers in leading international accounting journals as well as publishing many research monographs for various professional bodies. He also supervises many PhD students in the area of social and environmental accountability.
Craig regularly provides consulting services to corporations, government, and industry bodies on issues pertaining to financial accounting and corporate social and environmental accountability and he is on the editorial board of several leading international academic accounting journals. Craig has been the recipient of various teaching and research awards.
