It was okay.
I was a bit confused at the start about a few things, whether they were married or not, there is a comment that the next of kin would need to be notified first and it's not the Hero.
It's sort of told in part resurfaced memories and flashback.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine but the heroine has amnesia so goes on a date with another man and the Hero witnesses it. They are not intimate but they are flirty.
The Hero thinks of hooking up with a barmaid but changes his mind.
There is a lot of sex, I would have preferred more depth to the story. I understand they are physically attracted to each other but they needed more detailed conversation to sort the mess of their lives out.
It just ended.... it felt mid scene, although certain things were settled, to me it felt very abrupt, I double checked I had read it right and wasn't missing a page at the end.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series.
But be warned they are described as a group of complicated men, so I think any story will be painful.
This was quite an angst read.
No details in the blurb about cliffhanger or series.....
