I found this book to be much more interesting then I had expected. Not only does the author talk about the life of St. Steven, but he also discusses much about the lives around him, places he stays and the people in his life. He also talks about the Church at that time, which was in a state of upheaval, but he does it in a respectful manner.

Not only was this book entertaining but it was also educational. I learned much about the state of the Church at that time and about the daily lives of the religious.… (altro)
