For the first time to full story of the operations of Z Special Unit, behind Japanese lines is revealed. I was not a fan of this book, and I was really looking forward to reading about a group that isn't mentioned much in WWII history. Some of the stories were interesting, and hearing about how the SBS helped in reconnaissance was entertaining. My issues were the choppy writing style of the author and how he added missions even when he only had bits of information that left you wondering what happened. Since I received an eARC I didn't have any photo's in my copy, they may have made the reading more enjoyable.… (altro)
