"Hats of Faith" is a book showcasing different hats or head coverings seen in different religions. The book explains why each covering is worn and who it is generally worn by. Pronunciations for each covering is also included which is very helpful for anyone reading who isn't familiar with some of the coverings. The book concludes with this nice message: "Learning about each other makes it easy to be more understanding. Being understanding helps us spread love and peace." The author's note adds that experts in each of the religions mentioned in the book were consulted while making the book; it's great to see that the authors put so much care into this book even though it's rather simple. This book would be great for an introductory lesson about religion, or a lesson on cultural clothing.… (altro)
